This is the story of Sam and Sadie, who first meet in a hospital gaming room in 1987. Sadie is visiting her sister who’s ill, Sam is recovering from a life-changing car crash, and the weeks drag on until a shared love of video games brightens up their days spent indoors. They reconnect by chance years later in a train station, when Sadie is at MIT and Sam is at Harvard, and their continued love of games reignites their friendship and leads them to work together on creating their own games.
